There has been several Pokemon X and Y news lately, due to the impending release of the games in less than a month, which are Nintendo’s next set of games in it’s long running franchise. Several official announcements have been made, mostly made up of new pokemon or mega evolutions. You can check out all the images released over the past week from below. There have also been leaks floating around the web due to some people receiving the games lately, but nintendo has been quick in stopping this problem. For those who do not want to know more than what they already do, or want to have surprises, you are not advised to look anywhere below.
CHARIZARD MEGA EVOLUTION X:
Pokemon X looks like a sure bet that it will be better than Pokemon Y, mostly due to the pokemon in it, like the Mewto mega evolution and the Charizard mega evolution. Xerneas, the legendary, also has a brand new type introduced in the game, the fairy type. After the Pokemon Origins show premiered in Japan, there were sightings of a never before seen charizard, which was blue/black, and had blue flames coming out of it. It seems that it will have a second mega evolution after all, in the name of Mega Charizard X. It changes its type from Fire/Flying to Fire/Dragon, and it’s ability shifts to Tough Claw, which basically boosts it’s attack stats. Its attack stats likewise increases sharply. It now weighs 243.6 pounds. In comparison, the other Mega Charizard for Pokemon Y retains it’s type, but has a new ability of Drought, which boosts its Special Attack. With this recent announcement, does it really mean that there will be a mega evolution coming for the other two Kanto starters. It would be unfair not to, as it will push more people to choose Charizard, considering its the strongest of the bunch. Putting that aside, now it comes to…
SPRITZEE AND SWIRLIX EVOLUTION:
Yes, it seems like Nintendo has revealed the evolutions for two fairy types. It definitely looks more interesting than what we saw in it’s first evolutions. Once again, Spritzee and Swirlix are version exclusives, with the former only attainable in Pokemon Y, while the latter is only available in Pokemon X. Swirlix, the cotton candy Pokemon, evolves into Slurpuff. It retains it type, is a Meringue Pokemon, is 2′ 07″ tall, weighs 11.01 pounds, and it has the ability of sweet veil. Since it’s particularly good at distinguishing sweet smells, some Slurpuff work to assist pastry chefs. Slurpuff has an unbelievable sense of smell—a hundred million times more sensitive than that of humans. With its highly attuned senses, it can distinguish the faintest of odors. The other pokemon, Spritzee, evolves into Aromatisse. It also retains its type, is the Fragrance Pokemon, is 2’07” tall, weighs 34.2 pounds, and has the ability of Healer. It can give off a variety of different smells, from a pleasant fragrance to an odor so repugnant to its opponent that it can turn a battle in its favor. Like the Charizard evolution, you can view the image below.
INTRODUCTORY PROFESSOR INTRODUCTION:
Like every game, Pokemon X and Y will also have a starting introduction by the Professor into the world of Pokemon. However, this time round, it certainly looks much cooler and better, and also allows you to choose your gender and character’s preference in terms of looks. The video, which can be seen below, is in Japanese.
As mentioned above, there have been some pokemon leaks circular around, for Pokemon X and Y, and as previously mentioned, Nintendo has removed them so as to make sure that there will be no spoilers. So, here are the leaks which are currently available. Everything will be revealed in 8 days, where Pokemon X and Y releases worldwide, and you will know everything. Among the images are the Kalos Starter Evolutions, the map, new pokemon, mega evolutions, and more. Here are some extra information:
